Mr. Rezaiyan, founder and president, of 3E Consulting, leads our team. He has over 35 years of technical and management experience in the energy and environmental fields. His experience includes planning, managing, and implementing power sector restructuring and privatization, feasibility and due diligence study, and power plant efficiency improvement projects; and process development, design and operations. Mr. Rezaiyan has led multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams to: Evaluate the suitability of potential sites, adequacy and availability of fuel, transfer capability of the transmission systems, and environmental issues for developing and implementing independent power projects as well as pre-qualifying potential bidders, and preparing request for proposals; Establish regulatory bodies, develop technical capabilities of newly established organizations, and restructure the power sector; and Develop clean energy production technologies, processes and projects, and to assess their techno-economic viability and risks. Mr. Rezaiyan expertise extends to business development, marketing, and project planning and implementation both domestically and internationally. He holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland and has completed graduate level courses in finance at University of Baltimore. He has co-authored a major publication on gasification technology; conducted peer-reviewed technology assessments studies; and has been invited speaker at numerous conferences and workshops. His writings are also featured in the Private Power Producer Handbook.
